what air filter?

After fixing my mates 1.8t audi a3 2001 dodgy MAF sensor (busted by k&n 57i) and giving the motor a full service I'd like to know what's the best performance panel filter for it?

Alot of people go for Green Cotton which is what i had aswell Didn't have any problems with it. But i have a BMC now and i prefer that big time!

The standard one isn't restrictive unless you're producing 300+ bhp IIRC

Would a viper induction kit not be any good? Same as BMC one but smaller iirc?

Got the standard drilled airbox on mine with a Pipercross Panel.

BMC is considered by some to be a little restrictive, so I'm guessing something even smaller is not going to be any better!
