Weird 'flap'

Just above my rear view mirror I have a flap that pulls down, it appears to have a dot that looks like it could be a sensor or something. I also noticed 2 small holes at the bottom of the dome/map light assembly. I'm thinking something to do with the alarm, but anyone got any ideas as to what the flap is for?

the flap is a sun visor for when the sun is just shining above the mirror

As said above, its a 3rd sun visor. The two dots on the interior light panel are red ambiant lights that shine on the gearstick at night.

An extra sunvisor, wow. Not sure it's a brilliant idea but it's certainly a novel idea! Thanks guys

it works wonders in the winter when the sun is lower trust me you will use it
