    Yes they can, I think you need to get a couple of bits for the Passat. They need a bit of fitting. There was a thread a few years back on this, I believe Richardesty has done his mod.

    put 2010 passat ones on mine slightly smaller but a bit glue they fit fine.

    I did mine last year, much better they don't block and are adjusted with a small torx rather than a pin or similar, they are not a direct fit as the Passat ones are slightly smaller, i secured mine with a small piece of maccano, i'll throw up a pic tomorrow if it's of any help.

    Loving that fix mate! :) I went to fit mine over the summer and ended up putting it off as I was about to go on a long drive and couldn't get the botch sorted in time. Think i'll get on to fitting them soon.
