just finshed doing a dis retrofit amonst other things and i was tring to find out if the wires are already there for the sensor and if its not, is is a pain to route the wire?

i know i can just ground pin 1 but would rather have it working if all i have to do is fit the sensor.

any info would be helpful.

thanks

wireing is behind the pass side kick panel

Did mine when I did the DIS retrofit on my B6 Sport and it was easy enough to do.

Had the glovebox out, footwell kick panel and front nearside wheel arch liner out. Had to run a wire from pin 1 on the cluster through to the washer bottle where I wired it into the new connector I bought for the washer fluid sensor. The routing I took was from the cluster, along behind the dash and glovebox then through a grommet into the wheel arch (one with loads of spare holes in) then through behind the wheel arch liner to the washer bottle.
