I've been having a lot of problems with my S-TRONIC box on my S4 Avant. When reversing it slips and judders and often rolls forwards needs a lot of throttle to engage. It threw up a gearbox fault code and was then examined by Audi under my extended warranty. At the dealer the acknowledged that this happens sometimes and they would prefer to replace the gearbox. However only the mechatronic was replaced under warranty.
I was then told to drive 400 miles to let the mechatronic bed in (odd??). Anyway - after 430 miles the problem is identical, nothing has changed!!
Any ideas on my rights??
