When I install my VR6 clutch and ABF flywheel, am I right in thinking that I would need to install a slave cylinder for an Audi 8L 1.8t or for a VR6?

Also, would the "1995" VR6 clutch be the right age and clutch for the ABF flywheel?

    Thanks in advance.

your existing slave cylinder the the 1.8T engine is the one to use mate, I believe it's the same part as the VR6 slave, but just keep yours, or replace with the normal one for your car if going new :)

Make sure before starting that you've also got new ABF flywheel bolts, and clutch cover bolts, and a new release bearing should have been part of your kit too :)

Then go and enjoy a clutch that's 10x nicer than the original one!

Just to save starting a new thread, how much lighter should a VR6 clutch be?

I fiitted a sachs VR6 clutch and a techniclutch SMF and new clutch slave on the driveway on Saturday and the bite point is half inch off the floor and the clutch is so light it feels like its not there.

I bled the **** out of it but I'm not sure if something else is up.

My old DMF was totally goosed and the last clutch only lasted 15,000 miles...... so I'm not sure if I just got so used to the crappy DMF that the new set up seems alien.
