Vortex Side Sills Fitted - Piccies

    I bought some Vortex side skirts from E38 show a couple of weeks ago for £80, got them sprayed for £90 and fitted them this weekend.

    Fitting them is quite easy but you could do with an extra person to help you with it, i did them myself and used Sikaflex to glue them onto the car with.

    The quality of the fitment was pretty much spot on, really good snug fit for aftermarket sills.

    Love how they look as well, they don't look out of place or anything, they look as if they are meant to be on the car as standard, they sit out quite alot in the middle so you always catch your leg on it when getting out of the car.

    Here are some pics, they match the S-Line front bumper a treat with the outer lips on the bumper.

    Looks good Robin. Well done.

    I'm thinking of getting the same for my s-line sportback but can't make my mind up as to whether I actually like them on the sportback or not.

    Looks nice Robin! I'm thinking of doing the same to mine during the next month or so and am happy to see how well they go with the front bumper...

    I hope I have as much success as you've had!

    good to hear you managed them ok yourself - told you they werent bad! :p

    you were lucky to get them for £80!! I paid £200 for mine and I thought that was a good deal!
