Views on my mpg

Hi
What do you think of my mileage to the tankful...its a 1.8 T multitronic.
I brimmed it and put 68 litres in....I 'd done 380 miles 90% urban driving ,averaging a speed of 17 mph over the full total, all with the aircon on. My mate reckons its bad but looking at other peoples figures it doesnt seem bad at all, works out at just short of 25 mpg.

I created it as I am having the same thoughts, so much so that I have booked my car in for diagnostic check to see if anything is wrong

TBH , having read that thread your seems what it should be..bear in mind its 4wd. Personally I dont think mines that bad considering all the stop/starts,short journeys, and air con on all the time (plus its a multitronic). I reckon i'd easy get 450 ish on long runs.

Sounds about right for a 1.8T in urban driving.

I've read that they are very poor on fuel on short journeys.
