    I have a texa diagnostics machine and it does have a menu for coding but its very lilimited does anyone kknow if iit can be used for coding?

    I cant see anything on there website with any indication of a coding feature similar to vcds. Try viewing the long coding of a module and report back with your findings.

    I guess it's probably only OBD-1, so will only turn off warning lights/ service light and similar, pretty limited.

    Your best best is Ross-Tech and get yourself VCDS kit.
