get your self some can bus LED's
as they have a resister built in it will absorb any voltage within the line.
common with new cars.
standard festoon and alike LED bulbs will flicker or come on slightly even when it should be off.
getting can bus bulbs will get rid of that.
be warned though,, lots of ebay etc sellers claim their bulbs are can bus but are not! test when you get them to see if they return 120ohm if not get your money back, if so fit them and try it.

No, never did resolve this.
Works fine after you have driven the car for 30 minutes, so must be a coding problem.
Just swapped back to the old halogen unit yesterday, as car is going in for some warranty work and don't want the dealers finding an excuse not to pay out......
