VCDS-Lite replaces the olde 409.1 shareware version they had.
So yes, it will work with an ebay cable, and either provides the shareware functions, or if you pay for a licence will open up most of the features.

Not hi-jacking this Pedro...but,...........Aragorn (or anyone else) have you got a linky to a decent ebay cable (never bought one so I don't know what can be trusted or not) and a linky to a full software suite? I think its about time I invested in VCDS/VAGCOM!
