I'm new to VCDS and I'm having trouble interpreting an old thread about trailer coding changes.
http://www.audi-sport.net/xf/threads/a4-avant-s-line-tow-bar-coding.113479/ quotes a change to the engine coding as:

[01 - Engine]
[Coding - 07]->[Long Coding Helper]->Byte 4, Bits 0-3 Changed from 0011 to 0100

But in VCDS, I see Bits 0 to 3 listed separately with no descriptions, similar to this image:
Upload 2016 8 10 11 10 47

So should "0100" be read as Bit 0 to Bit 3 (ie. with the 1 in Bit 1), which then appears as 00000010 in the binary field, or is it Bit 3 to Bit 0 (ie. with the 1 in Bit 2),which would appear as 00000100?
