Got a quote from VAGTECH in milton keynes.

£235 inc VAT for Fitting of lowering springs and Full 4WD Tracking/adjustment including adjustments if needed to camber and toe settings.

Bit gutted as they offered me a free A/C service, but i had it done for £50 the day before!

Expected duration of work - 4 Hours

This sound about right? anyone used them before, apparently they do a good job, only bad thing will be that i have to wait their for 4 hours!!

Yes thats a fair price with vat & alignment, wait for the barrage of oh its to expensive etc, but remember, if they also have a good rep, you'd pay the little extra yes to know the job is being done properly & well.

B7 A4 suspension changes can be a nightmare sometimes. So that price is a good one. Put it this way when my previous A4 B7 went into awesome gti for lowering it took them all day, luckly they stuck to the fitting quote. As based on the time they took it should have been a lot lot more.

Lol already had that from somewhere else, gave me a quote a week before, turned up and dropped off the caroff, got home, 30 minutes later they rang me saying some rubbish about no staff, bigger job than they thought, didnt realise it had this, that and the other...bla...bla...bla.

Every excuse they could think of not do the job...either that or they just could'nt do it fullstop.

Hopefully as VAGTECH are audi/vw specialists this should not the case.

I just hope the springs are worth it as its only a 10mm drop and so far its cost me almost £400.00.

Nah not bothered with shocks, insurance would'nt let me change them anyway.

The day that my standard shocks go! is the day i will get some decent ones!

is this the pro kit you are getting fitted?? had this on my old car and am thinking getting it done to my new car.

Anyone know if getting just the front done would upset the feel of the car? quite happy with how the space looks around the back wheels on my avant but the front is well too high.

    :)
