bought a full version ad Rosstech cable as I lost my ebay special cable a few weeks back.

just found it down the back of my PC. not required anymore, worked perfectly with v409 VAGCOM

While it occurs to me, is there anything you can do on a "proper" one you cannot do on an Ebay special?

I am having an issue re aligning the immo for a different ECU with 3.12, i wonder if it's because of the version i am using?

it comes with the lead but you can downloan v409 for free, it is th elatest edition that works on eBay specials.
does individual block logs, fault code scans in specific blocks and resets most codes.
doesn't do full scans or any fancy stuff.

works a charm for an airbag reset!


oh and the manifold is in progress, it should be finished end of this week, I will get it end of next if I am lucky.
