VagCom - from where?

I've got the lead to go to my laptop that I bought ages ago, but no software to accompany it.

Where can I get this from? All the eBay adverts are just for the leads or fault readers, it would seem.

Any help or direction would be appreciated.

Is it a gen cable?

Apart from the bad web site you can search on, you could get hte lite version from VCDS or speak to NHN, he might be able to help you.

This depends on your cable.

Gen cable go for 10 if its a chinky nock off, go for the lite.
Unless the chinky nock off is version 10 nock off.

They released a newer version last year called VCDS Lite.

You can use up to any version that VCDS has out but it all depends on the ROM image you have on your cable.

I've downloaded the 'lite' version to my laptop. Will give it a go and see how I get on.
