Vag Specialists - Wirral / Ellesmere Port

I was planning on waiting until it warms up abit and fixing my car myself but im getting sick of having to drive my 106 in this bad weather...

Can anyone recommend a decent VAG specialist around the Wirral /Ellesmere Port area? Not to impressed with the last place I used.

I need a brake line replacing and the system all bleeding, would people stick to a VAG specialist or just take it anywhere that could do it?

Any idea on a cost for this? Brake pipe from master cylinder to ABS unit.

there is a company called Renn-Tech who are a vag specialist in ellesmere port. its on that little industrial estate round the back of B&Q. I used to use him. Did a good job but started gettin a bit too expensive. Phone number for them is 07725544492.

Thanks for the info, main issue with anywhere far is that I have no brakes on the car which makes even towing it quite difficult.

Local place reckon about £120, two hour job..

Clearly the current climate is hitting garages, they offered to do it today !

That is a bit quick. I used to be able to get mine in there within 2 -3 days but sounds like its defo hitting everywere now.
