VAG-K+CAN

Hey guys, I just bought a VAG-K+CAN cable from ebay, but need help setting it up. (Apologies, I know I will receive responses saying "search" -- I've done that, and researched for hours, without success.... so I'm asking the question directly.)

Please help if you can. I'm anxious to get started. I just bought a used S8, and I want to run the diagnostics.

Once you have installed the drivers for the cable and it's still not recognised. I had the same problem which I fixed by changing the allocated com port of the USB. The guide below is for windows 7 but once you get into device manager in windows 10 it should be a similar setup.
