Discussion in 'A3/S3 Forum (8L Chassis)' started by imported_daryl, Feb 5, 2006.

  1. I hear that when you are using VAG COM to be careful not setting off the air bag.
I do not intend doing anything to the airbag, but can someone give advice before it all goes pete tong!

    Cheers

    its safe enough

you have to select scanning of airbags, and then confirm that again after.

you cant really do it by accident.

Its only certain cars that are affected, but the disable scanning by default for all, so you physically have to select it.

  4. I think that I may have a proble with my MAF sensor.

I hear that you can use VAG COM to give an estimate on the BHP's your car is running?

Or is there another way to find out if the MAF is Bu$$ered?

    Can anyone tell me more?

    Cheers

another trick is try going for a drive with maf disconnected, dont expect full performance, but if its noticably better, then it points towards a knackered maf.
