    Currently have the audi symphony.

For some reason the sound goes up and down randomly... It's really annoying. I am assuming it's the head unit. I could be wrong about this any tips would be good. :)

Until I find a fix I'll just upgrade it to either the nav plus assuming the system will sound the same ? Or is it worth upgrading to a kenwood double din with nav.

I worried my bose sound system won't work fully with the kenwood head unit.

    I.e.

The steering wheel buttons won't be compatible ?

Also will all the speakers work ?

I would love the kenwood with higher quality screen etc and I assume if I get one of the top end ones the sound quality should be just as good ?

I am completely clueless about this stuff so any advice would be awesome thanks.

Think there might be a setting on the unit that accounts for outside noise.

The setting I am referring to is called GALA (Gala function boost the sound system volume level accordingly as the vehicle speed increases to drown out background noise). This quote is taken from my concert radio hand book.

I play it via CDs at the moment. I would prefer to play them off my phone via cable or wireless. Using the standard system.
