Hi
As a winter project, I'm upgrading/modding my headlights, as I got NO light at night...
The reason is a faded/burned reflector..

The easiest way would probably to get the old reflectors re-"chromed"
But Ive got a feeling that it would be something to be done at every service..
Every bi-xenon from the B6 Ive seen, had the burnt reflectors..

Here are my current reflectors:

So Ive bought new projectors with 100% clear lenses...
But they are not p'n'p..
I need to get the plate out, that the projector is fitted to...
And then make some brackets for making it fit..
But I Think its a good upgrade for very good and aestestic outcome :)

Here are my new projectors:

Anyone with ideas???

Where did you buy the projectors from and how much? I'm wanting to do this myself aswell.

Ive found out that they are replicas of the Q5 Koito.. Been told they are 2. Generation Valeo..
Actually I dont Care.. I just Care that the'll work...
But fitting is a bit tricky..
They have same lenght, but fitting holes are off..
And the solenoid for the shield is in the way, so I have to cut some off the plate the projector is fitted to..
Not something you will se when all done..
But they are bought at:

I also found at some site called alibaba.com

I wouldnt mind replacing mine as the lights are crap even with HID's fitted!

will be watching this with interest :)

As Said.. Every bi-xenon Ive come across had burned reflectors.. Probably because of bad design... Thats why re-chroming the reflector would be as a final solution.. Seen some on eBay..

So my plan is now, after Christmas, to dissable the hole housing and fit the new projector.. Would be cool if i came across some new lenses for the housing..

Just thinking they are expensive at Audi/vw
