Garage still reckon not their fault that the conrod snapped (and they ruined a 2003 S3 with only 47K on the clock) after they chanaged water pump and TIMING BELT! The say its a freak accident. Had an engine assessor look at it he said that it looks like one of the psitons smashing into the value due to the timing belt sliping; he need the head off to be definate.
Has anyone experience anything like this or heard of this happening? was quite depressed for a week, i loved that s3 but if the engine assessor is correct they must owe me a new engine and have it replaced by audi?
