Unrecognizable part from behind front bumper?!

Hi,

My uncle had removed the front bumper from a 2005 A4 1.8T Petrol B6 Cabriolet.

This part fell off from behind the front bumper, and as he's putting the car back together, he doesn't know where it goes back.

Any ideas?

It's defo not a part from the bumper for sure .. Not seen that part before

With any part in tge audi group the said offending part should be stamped with its part number, this should help you trace down were the part is located with a quick search on google or ebay.
