Tyre thread bsaed on best handling in the dry?

    What do you think is the best handling tyre in the dry for an S3? Regardless of costs, wear, wet handling etc.

    I would think something like R888`s:icon_thumright: They are sort of like a track tyre but road legal-will be rubbish in the wet & not last long but if that dosnt matter.

    i quite like bridgestone potenza's when i had them fitted they felt good in dry and wet.

    But for all weather use, Michelin pilots are the daddies!

    Yokohama AVS Sport... Absolutely awesome levels of grip in the dry yet still safer than many road legal 'track' tyres in the wet.

    r888's were well grippy when i used them, didnt get many miles out of them tho
    waste of time in wet imo

    Sorry, thought everyone was jsut saying tyre manufacturers, not what would actually be one of the best dry handling tyres.

    But to get back on track, any decent proper slick, obviously.

    I have even used Michelin N22s (cut slicks) on the car to great effect.

    For road legal stuff, then R888s for sure.
