Can anyone recommend an accurate tyre pressure gauge. It seems to be hard to find one that is calibrated correctly. Between a few mates we differ in 3 psi which is poor.

I've currently got a dial gauge from Halford but am not convinced it's accurate. I've used these digital ones and they don't seem to decide on what to settle at. Also most of them spew out air whilst trying to make a connection /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Any suggestions before I purchase or even ones you use, good or bad?

Regards

I use a michelin digital tyre gauge from halfords...

seems fine to me, and even agree's with the Halfords "rapid digital inflator"..

Best thing to do is log on to the Autoexpress web-site www.autoexpress.co.uk and look at the products tested section for tyre pressure gauges. they have done tests on all sorts and put their findings on there.

Years ago the lowly Halfords pencil guage came top of a survey I read. I bought one and find that it reads the same as both my Halfords foot pumps that have been bought at different times.

Good enough for me considering that garage forecourts guages are sometimes 10 or more psi out.
