Tyre air pressure warning thingy

    I can't find the manual (before anyone asks!) as we've recently moved house and everything is everywhere but i'm sure that the pressures on my 55 plate 3.2 SB are looking a bit low and have been waiting for some alarm to come on to tell me so.

    I have the button thing on my centre console but can someone point me in the right direction as to what i#m supposed to do when i adjust the pressures

    Also - what pressures do folk find best on the 3.2 SB?

    If memory serves correct, once you have the pressures set you hold down the button until you here a beep. May even get confirmation on the DIS but can't remember.

    Correct tyre pressures should be on the inside of your fuel flap.

    Yes Ryan is correct & dis confirmation is with MY10 cars onwards, only a lamp lights in pre MY10 cars.

    Just a warning icon afaik to indicate a tyre pressure check needed, it doesnt monitor each wheel as it uses the abs sensors to monitor the circumference of the wheel turns, although the US has a tyre pressure monitor that uses valve sensors, but this also only has a warning not a wheel specific.

    ah so no point in going down the US route either...... ****

    nearly fitted mine, just cant be arsed to attempt the ABS plug - seems far to much of a pain! :)
