I have the twin rear pipes, one either side like an S4 but as its the diesel the shoot downwards..

HAs anyone retro fitted tail pipes from different models ect to give it a better look and to fill the hole in the valence

If they're the welded tips, then grind these of & fit the straights.

I have a full exhaust off a fwd 2.0 tfsi (straight tips) if you need it mate.

been quoted £70 from a local exhaust place to chop off the down turned tips and weld on a pair of stainless 100mm tips. should be getting it done next month so will post pics

Cheers Guys, i didnt know if Audi did some as Parts if you know what i mean......

Here's my attempt Tiffy

Mac,
What diameter tips do you have? and where did you get them from?
They look good.

300268 10150277722126931 4348664 n This is what i've had done, was £80 (£40quid each tip, and fitted) they had to lower the exhaust to fit them tho, think these are 3 maybe 3.5 inch, not sure, but most exhaust places should be able to do this fine, i had it done the day after i got the car, as it does look nasty two brown pipes pointing down like the car has impotence!

These pics are making me want to replace my downturned pipes. However will these make any difference to the smoke the diesel puts out? Surely it hitting the floor disperses most of it? Would these pipes make it leave more clouds of soot?

Don't think it makes that much difference in terms of how much of a cloud you leave... and besides, if you've really given it a bootful, you'll won't be around to worry about it for long! ;)

Lose those droopy tips pronto!

can you get a photo up once youve done it as mines same car and cant decide on it

Here's mine picture quality is terrible but I got 3" tips on mine. Would probs be best to go for 3.5" as I find the 3" is abit to small and the 4" is a little big.

Same here, running 3", will change to 3.5" just fills the valance better imo.

I want as close to OEM as possible with the sticking out.think 3" would be better for me

shouldn't get clouds of smoke as the b7 has particle filters does it not?

no, mine doesn't have a DPF, so I think mine will smoke more than one with a DPF

3.5" slash cut , deffo should have got the 4"
