    Hi
I have a 2006 Audi A4 Avant S-Line (auto). When turn the ignition on, the DIS displays a message reminding me to put the brakes on before engaging "drive" (I forget the exact words).

Does anyone know if it is possible to remove this message using VCDS? I find it a bit annoying as it means I can't select which music I want on the (Dension) iPod unless I start the car and engage drive. As I already know how to drive an automatic (!), I feel that this message is a bit redundant.

Press the reset/cancel button on the bottom of the wiper stalk, that should remove the message.
It works on my B5 auto.

That would be good. I'll have a look in the morning. Thanks.

I had a look and my wiper stalk doesn't have such a button. In any case, I'd ideally like a way of getting rid of the silly message entirely.
