Turbo went Bang !!

Folks,
I am in need of some advice. I run an A4 B5 with the AJM 115PD engine in it. Unfortunatly my turbo has decided to go bang.

Upon removing it from the vehicle the impeller shaft has split in two, so you can now pull both parts of the shaft apart like an accordian.

My question is - the turbo markings on the casing say

GTV179V - OEM Part number is 028145702H

I have located a GTV179V OEM 028145702R

What if any is the differance between these 2 models, and would the R model be compatable with my AJM engine.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, unless any one has a "spare" laying around that they would like to sell.

PD 115 engine was rare in the B5, and only fitted in the '00 / '01 models.

I'll check compatibility, and let you know.

028 145 702H was not fitted to AJM models.
It was fitted to AHH (TDI 90) AVG (TDI 110) and AFN (TDI 110) models.

The correct unit for your AJM is 028 145 702R, so you have located the correct unit.
