Turbo funny noise

Recently my turbo is making funny noises in between gear change. Had a new n75 vavle fitted and the turbo cleaned for sticky veins. 4/6 weeks later its making a weird noise. At first i thought it was the gearbox or clutch but the mechanic said its defo the turbo. Car boosts as normal. Anyone got any ideas??? Its not a whistle noise,just cant describe it.

Mine was doing it too, I think it's back pressure going back over the turbo fan part, mine turned out to be siezed vanes (also had chunks out of it) and a damaged compressor wheel

Had my turbo fully reconditioned, feels like it's got twice the power now

Nice one @Orange225 how much did that cost as im seeing new turbos on ebay for 200

£450 all in, at least I know my turbo's good and genuine, with all new internals. I was looking at an eBay jobbie, but for the sake of another £200 I thought it wasn't worth risking it failing and destroying my engine
