anyone know the best place/price for a turbo back miltek or simular.
why spend over a 1200 quid on milltek when some of there fitting can be poor, its not custom and individual!
i'm getting a complete set up turbo back from pipewerx totally custom to your car, sound the way you want! and the best part £911 inc VAT
i'm getting mine very soon!
it all includes
3" downpipe, 100cpsi sport cat and fully custom rear section.
there workmanship is excellent from the creator of the twin VR6 engined mk3 golf and the rear Vr6 engined mk1 golf!
they have german blood!
i agree with you on the miltek fit ect but they are a very good performance pipe, i ran one on my modded golf turbo. but i like the sound of these pipe guys, have they got a websit and were are they?
I've fitted many performance exhausts and the best quality and fit i've come across is a Supersprint, fitted 100% perfect.
Never fitted a miltek but have fitted, Scorpion, Magnex, Janspeed, Sebring, Mongoose etc.
Millteks fit, it just takes a bit of effort on the part of the fitter.
Possibly a good 'performance' pipe, but you won't get much extra performance out of an S3 with one on. Just a nicer note and possibly a dodgy fit.
The Supersprint's fit better and look better with twin 90mm pipes, but again you won't be seeing any performance benefit.
so your saying that with a larger down pipe, high flow cat and a over all larger bore you will not see any improvement in proformance..
i dont belive that, i fitted one to my revo'd golf T and it made a deffenate improvment..
try pipewerx, really good workmanship, they know exactly what they're doing and £911 is an awesome price!
Yep you wont see any real performance benefit, maybe 5-10bhp, i.e nothing like enough for you to notice on a 225bhp car. Will sound better tho, but i can think of lots i could spend a grand on that isnt an exhaust.
Dyno proven. The main restrictions are in the turbo and manifold. You'll get nothing but a better noise and a bit of bling with a Milltek on the S3.

there cat and downpipe are usually £600 but when bought with arear section they were gonna do it for £500.they said there was only one problem fitting the down pipe and cats, they don't have a 2 post lift so they couldn't lower the sub frame! but with my friends garage just round the corner thats no problem for me a weekend spent and then a 4 wheel align afterward also i will do the front ARB while i'm there.
next big spend for me is FMIC
the golf zorst must have been very restrictive then. if all your getting is a better note then i may as well get a cat back and save myself £££££'s
i want a performance zorst but as my car's not an S3, there's no hole in the bumper and i don't want to make one as i like the symmetrical smooth arse on it. lol - does anyone make a performance zorst for the 1.8TSQ which has a similar double downwards pipe hiding behind the bumper like the original zorst? as i dont want it poking out

yeah i think milltek do a ''clean'' or ''smooth'' exhaust
or if not pipewerx or MIJ would afterall they are made to order!
Where is this Piperwerx based? Is there one in or around the Croydon area (south london)?

Would you recommend them for a TDI or is best if I look into another company that might specialise in that area...
