Hi guys. I am looking at a late Christmas present to myself. I have a 2008 facelift 2.0 tdi 140 cr engine. I would like it mapped and am looking for recommended places. Bristol is about as far up the country I will travel. I know allan jeffery is in plymouth and have heard about just vans in Paignton, any other ideas for me. Cheers

Avoid Alan Jeffrey in Plympton if you want to go custom - seems to know his stuff with Jap stuff but isn't particularly clued up for VAG/newer stuff so wouldn't go leaving anything too valuable with him.

With regards to a map, I'd normally suggest going a tad further than Bristol to visit Bill @badger5 though I'm not too sure if dirty dervs are his thing. Happy to be told otherwise (tag added for Bill to confirm)

The above said, if you're looking for a fairly generic/off-the-shelf map along the lines of a REVO there are a few dealers down this way. From memory there's a chap in Newton Abbott who seems to be the go-to point for that. Quick look on the REVO site gives details as:

Believe he has a custom map that he then puts into your car and fine tunes to suit your specific engine and setup. £280 I think he said all in including pre-post maps.
