Well i can now put closure to this sorry affair. I have the car back with me, The dealer has given me the parts FOC and will also transfer £350 to my bank so i can pay to have the parts fitted locally to me at a garage of my choice. Its been a long drawn out process but at least i now have closure, a line in the sand etc.. The garage i choose will then do the works to the car. If however more problems are discovered on the way then i get the dealer and the garage talking to fix whatever comes up.. So to be fair to the dealer, it took some time and a lot of stress but they came good in the end. I have control of the situation and am now on the way to becoming happy again.

So thanks to anyone who has posted advice and comments it has been a great help.

Warren s3 thank for all your advice... the parts are the correct parts you mentioned, So that's the Clutch, Cover, Concentric thing and bearing all in a box and in my house. Will call around and see when i can get it all fitted but would like for it to go to Audi or a Audi specialist for peace of mind and to cover myself if any other problems are discovered when fitting the new clutch...
