Anyone know the TTC and TTR's official unladen weight? Just curious, as EVO list the TTC as 1395kg, which I find hard to believe.

My old TTR its weight was 1540Kg.
This was with Bose / 6CD fitted, and Leather seats.

Maybe someone would be good enough to check their sticker in the boot near the spare wheel! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Seem to remember 1465 for a 225 TTC.

I always wondered about the 1395 figure quoted in Evo - it was lower than the 180 (smaller turbo, 1 less intercooler, smaller brakes).

Maybe they took the 75kg driver allowance off an already unladen car.

    My TTC is 1465kg.

I guess EVO took the weight with the 17" wheels. The 18" added a lot of weight.

Was the EVO publishe recently or an old version. Perhaps the weight was when they first evaluated the car.

Just had a look in Dec2002 EVO...

Audi TT quattro (180bhp), weight 1419kg
Audi TT quattro (225bhp), weight 1395kg

Just for comparison purposes, AutoExpress 4 Dec 2002...

Same weights listed. 180bhp was tested 10/02/99 and 225bhp tested 02/12/98.

Anyway, I guess the TT's and S3's weigh pretty much the same these days...

    S3 Weight

    Cheers

There is one in the service book and one next to the spare tyre, under the carpet.
