TT 225 convertibles?

Basically after deciding I need to scratch the soft top itch I picked out 4 I liked and it has whittled down to just 2 and both are back in Camp Audi. B6 A4 1.8t convertible or the TT 1.8t 225.

Anything special to look for on these and what are they like to live with? I'm not abandoning my B5 project but it will be sidelined while some annoying niggles are sorted.

Great little fast motor just ensure its got full service and had the cam belt done! Otherwise enjoy...

Not sure I've done this right mind. Keeping the 4 door saloon to throw round like hooligan and using the 2 seater a daily but hey

Vehicle has been well looked after with a full dash pod repair, roadster drains replaced and recent air con regas. The roof works perfectly and all electrics works as they should.

That looks spot on. If you still have it when my house sale completes I'll be wanting a look at that.

Right took a car for a test drive from a local dealer (admittedly mostly to see if I could get in one and whether the boot space was acceptable) and found the soft top wasn't lined so you could see the metal roof bars. Dealer was adamant that this was right but it seemed a bit cheap n cheerful. Is he on the blag or is that really how they are? Also noticed a vibration much like a heavily out of balance but at 20-30mph. Car was at strong money and happy it's not for me but be useful to understand the niggles.
