or has someone got measurements of the top of the climate and the bottom,

any help would be very grateful

When I did my old A3, I just trimmed a piece of card from a cereal packet till it fitted neat and then took the measurements off that.

what you use to cut it, a gigsaw?how about if you use a sharp stanly knife and keep scoring it until it cuts trough, will that work?

Don't use a jigsaw, you'll make a right mess of it lol!. Use a hacksaw and then sand the edge with sandpaper and a block of wood.

There's not much to come of if I remember right, it's just the bottom half that angles in about 10mm on both sides.

I did the same as 3.2 Ju, few mins to cut and hours of slow sanding, I was paranoid of taking too much off so took longer than it should have LOL

when you cut the sides off, does it still fit in the groves of the double din cage, meaning is it secure?

That doesn't surprise me, I was fed up seeing these selling for too much cash, so let HazzyDayz chop mine down - they did a good job, but have done quite a few before. I'm pretty sure if I did it myself I'd have made a complete mess of it!!

Dremel is the best with a disc, tape up the sides with masking tape, then when cut of, the edges usually are left with small bits you can break of with ur fingers, mostly clean cuts, can be very litely sanded, fairly easy to do tbh, just get measurements as best as poss, has the slighted rounded edge so bare this in mind when doing.
