Ive been cleaning my mk1 recently and although i can get a good shine on the paint the roof is a big let down. It looks sooo old. Its patchy . Yesterday when i sprayed a little detailer spray on the car and it hit the roof it did seem to help but as it dried this soon faded too.

Is there any product/ method that will help??

Faded fabric - caused by ultra violet radiation (UVR) photo degradation or acidic attack; use Renovo Soft Top Reviver (Convertible top care by Renovo International) a paint-on type product that restores faded colour
