HMS Gannet SAR Sea King at Knockhill
Class 66 freight train
Taken at the Shotover River, Queenstown, New Zealand
Taken at Milford Sound, New Zealand - If you want to see the 'transport', look in the very bottom right hand corner. Had to find something with a sense of scale.
BTW That boat holds 80-100 people.
Wow, totally awesome pics Steamship. Keep them coming. x
Last two on Transport for today:
The Kingston Flyer, South Island, New Zealand - One of the few photoshopped images I have. Darkened the sky, added the text and the border. Used to have this as my desktop background.
... and one more from Milford Sound in New Zealand to try and capture the scale (I couldn't get the top in on the other one). This is only a 25-30 foot cruiser, end on, about a third of the way in from the right.
Concorde, based at Pier 42 New York
Concorde positioned in its new home.

The knowledge being handed on, and on...
Where were these taken?

And a great car park for an Audi meetâ¦
All photos were taken with a Panasonic DMC-LCI camera, which has a Leica 28-90mm f/2-2.4 lens, a truly brilliant digital camera with full manual control.
The actual camera used is currently for sale on eBay, item number: 141125185358. If you check out the sales you'll see that I sold a similar camera earlier in the week within 4-hours of listing - I'm making a complete change and will soon be selling a virtually unused Nikon F3 with 50mm f1.2, motor drive, zoom lenses, etc; time for a new toy.
Why did I not think ahead that there were other AUDI owners shared the same interests?
OK, so you ALL now know...
WESTON PARK - an excellent restaurant too....
I'll dig out my China (1985) steam railways pictures later, scan those, and post.
I was fortunate (?) to travel from Shanghai to Beijing (36-hours) on local railways; never forgotten the experience, and have always made sure ever since to sh#t first thing in a morning...
