Does anyone happen to know the interval for changing the transmission oil on an AWX 5 speed.
Can't say I've noticed it in the service schedule anywhere..

Sealed for life according to audi.
Imo manual gearbox oil in audis doesnt need to be changed even when it gets dirty my audis have changed gear perfect.
if you want to change it use genuine audi oil only.

and to make it easier to change use a fluid transfer pump, trying to get oil back into the gear box using the standard bottles is a right twat

The manual gearbox oil in all the skoda taxis round my way never gets changed in 300,000 miles without any problems.

I changed the oil on my box after 270K, first a second gears where a little notchy after the oil change it was back to normal. The oil in the box was not in the best of condition compared to the new oil. However I don't think Audi "sealed for life" = 270K & 13 years.

It's such an easy job & cheap job to do, as for filling the box I used a length of clear hose and ran the fluid through that.
