Today i got new tyres, with that and knowing my tracking was out by the way it drives I got wheel alignment also.
Here is the print out I was given when finshed, but after my recent drive it's no different.
When accelerating the steering wheel turns slightly left and in general feels like a boat!
Feels like it's over steering slightly or that could be just me.
What you think of these figures?

you got some issues going on with your front suspension set up, the toe in and out is at spec but obviously the caster and camber are out, the camber is obviously how far your tyre leans in or out vertically from the ground up, and the caster again is dictated by correct suspension set up, how far the wheel sits forward (towards the front of the arch or the toward the rear of the arch.
it all really depends on how your car is set up, suspension intergrity and setup, tyre size, if your cars been lowered, so on so on.

Ok thanks for explaining it some more.
The car has been lowered and is on coilovers, you mention it looks like I have suspension set up issue, what would that be? As in the condition of the struts them selfs or beeing adjustable not set up properly?

My local kwik fit.

A reason why they couldn't put the front to 'perfect' was because I have bigger wheels on.
The wheels are 18inch

I'm assuming by that it's still wrong then?

kwik siht, lol

Guess we've all got to learn they're carp at some point ;)

Ask around locally, to see who comes recommended, must be a good indie tyre/suspension specialist near you.

Would rather leave my car in the Monkey house at Chester Zoo than a fast fit center, least the monkeys at Chester know what they're doing.:glee:

According to a separate garage the figures are correct, think it was he said cause it's a solid chassis?

depends what you asked for, if you asked for tracking, then its just the toe that gets done
a full alignment will attempt to adjust toe/camber/caster, IF they can be done
, I see you are lowered, hence the camber is out ,A3 has a bit of camber adjustment on the bottom ball joint
left caster is miles out, I suspect something bent or a totally stuffed bush/top mount, or could be the strut not mounted into top mount correctly

when I couldn't get the rear dialed in on my old MX5, the bottom swing arm bolt was so bent I had to cut it out :)

The left caster sitting at 8"12 meaning what could be nakered to put this out?
I asked for all wheel alignment as the garage before said you wouldn't get the tri-pods on the wheel to do the tracking

they didn't touch the camber, I wonder if they even know its adjustable
caster is the vertical, as rustynic says

so anything that locates the strut in the vertical plane, front to back
top mounts, allows top of strut to move around
rear bush or mounting on bottom arm
bent bottom arm
bent strut

ever been in an accident, bent body?
