When one side goes or is about to go, Is it the done thing to do them in pairs?
i dont think it the done thing mate i had one go on mine and just did the one
well to my way of thinking they have both covered the same milage ones gone the other should not be far behind going . you have to go and buy one so you may as well buy two you have the tools out your hands are already dirty so do both then you should have the tracking done then you have two new track rod ends fitted and tracked jobs a gudon
They may have both covered the same mileage but they may not have ,
have they or one ever been changed before
also both sides of the car dont get the same forces due to bumps etc
and personally theres no way i would change a perfectly good part ,
in my job i change loads of suspension components and you may change one side and never change the other
just change the one thats gone fix the other if or when its gone unless you have money to burn.
thats what i thought paul20v i did just the one as it was good on the othere side. and that maybe as at some point
some one who had it before me may have done that one
