Hi all, I'm about to purchase a tow bar for the new to me a6. Question, do I need dedicated electrics or will a good quality bypass suffice? I know a bypass relay will work but won't switch off the rear sensors. However is that it? Some cars have stability programs which mean the dedicated electrics are a must, not sure if the late model C6's fall into this category.

Hi mate I had the full dedicated system on my A4 and will be having the same on my A6 when I get it done, think it cost me around £150 more and with our caravan having IDC I thought it would be the better option
