While I have never checked into the torque figures the 2.0 engine from my11 was completely revised, it is a very tuneable and well regarded engine and stage 1 would take you close to tts power figures, that said if it wasn't a Quattro model you would get wheel spin. The revised tfsi engine also has a chain rather than a timing belt, the facelift engine on the TTS was slightly revised, this increased the power slightly and at the same time managed to lower the road tax band, all TTS models have a timing belt though. The diesel TT also has very high toque.
