 Where you can buy an adaptor to take the smaller audi cigar lighter socket to the standard cigar socket (as in the boot of avant)?
Maplin can sell an extension lead to run from the boot of the car to the Tom Tom - but this seems messy

    Happy Xmas to all

I didn't know it was a different size either. My road angel power cord fits in mine ok, and so does the power cord for the air compressor and million candle power torch I have.

If you get no joy you could always buy a cigarette lighter from a motor factors and install it yourself either where yours is now or in the glovebox if its only for your tomtom.

Good idea - I will probably go to Trevor at TC Copthorne, Sussex - As I compare my electrical skills to that of a snail! I recently changed a brake light bulb - result - hacksaw to bone in thumb - Lost bolt - took one out of shower door(now propped open with toilet tube) - too long - hence hacksaw - wife laughed her tits off! If anyone wishes a technically incompetant diy'er to do odd jobs on there pride and joy - let me know?
Perhaps Santa can squeeze a fit female techy to teach me few basics?:footy:
