I think the matrix lines are unavoidable, will always see the lines.
There are always a few wee bubbles pal, but they will go when the tint film settles, the guy I use always asks me to go back in 7 days or so, so that he can smooth out any bubbles that don't disappear, never had an issue
Kevin is a nice guy, but he hasn't asked me to bring it back to him yet and said gotta wait it out.
There's a bubble about 5mm wide, hoping that won't cause a problem.
I think I gotta go outside and do my sun dance
we need photos how dark does it look ?
He said the shade I chose was factory so not too sure. It looked like one of the lighter shades compared to dark smoke and limo.
I repositioned the car to face the sun so the water bubbles can absorb the heat/light quicker lol
It's quite bright outside right now but this is what I literally just took:
Where are the bubbles rear windows back screen?
What shade is that then ?? that looks spot on to me im not going for anything to dark I want it to look like the factory shade also.
Looks like dark smoke to me, they look to be near enough the same as mine and mine are dark smoke. Looks good whatever tint it is
There are a few small pin head ones at the rear windscreen, and a few pin ones on the one you can see here.
Not very visible from the outside, but if you sit on the inside of the car you can see them.
It's only a few, but nothing too dramatic
No idea, I don't think it is dark smoke as it looked more like 50% to me when he showed me the examples, but then again 50% on top of a already 30% audi standard tint would make it darker than 50%.
Looks good to me, and not far off the factory privacy glass shade!
i doubt that will go away by its self
Its 5mm (post #123). Presume it will disappear?
Was just saying its a 5mm bubble, not 5cm.
Looking at the last posts I gather that these small bubbles will disappear after a few daysâ¦..
lol thats what no sleep does for my eyes
but still 5mm in tint is quite big and may not go
lol i know the feeling⦠hence I'm on my 4th coffee of the dayâ¦.
Yeh that's what I'm worried about, but according to the tinter they should go away so just hoping for more sunny days

Sounds tough⦠you'll enjoy your sleep for sure!
yeah i will till i have to get up at 3 again
cant wait till i knock off friday
Im sure if it doesn't the tinter will sort it so there is nothing to worry about really
There's a few more but you can't really see them unless you go looking for them, I guess they will disappear over time.
Not the best of pictures:
Where do you live (to diesel guy)?
i wouldnt tell him
i recon hes gona come and nick your bubble !
In the cold and wet south east of London
Please do! lol
Sorry, my phone seems to be on go slow mode and posting way after I've replied...it should have been right after diesel guy post..
I had the same thing for about two days after then they completely disappeared. Just liquid from applying them I was told.
I reckon I should of done it in the summer, think I got a long wait ahead
Search for mobile tints in your county, it took me quite a while to finally find one for £180 vs the £300 "special offers" I could find....
Cheers mate, yeah that sounds good. So far I haven't thought about mobile ones. Was just thinking since I have family in London and the midlands, I can always drive there.
This is the guy I use in Harlow

Thanks. They r just down the M11 from me.
Your dark smoke tint looked good as well, which is reassuring.
If you wanna meet up pal for a look at mine let me know
Dark smoke (20%)
That definitely looks darker that mine lol nice
any bubbles or a perfect tint?
Not darker than mine lol
