Tinting Headlights And Rear Brake Lights Advice And Help...

Hi ALL!

I am thinking of having my car's headlights and rear brake lights tinted. What I would like to know is how dark can I go and will it be legal i.e. will I be stopped by the traffic police to have it removed? I am going to get mine tinted 'SMOKED' by FUNK MOTORSPORT so hopefully they will be able to advise me how dark I can go to be road legal....

The look I am after is for the rear lights to blend in with the colour of the body (BLACK) and only show up when the lights are on. I believe the law states that the 'reflector MUST be seen.'

Has anyone tinted their car and if so can you post photos showing me just how dark you have gone and if encountered any problems having done so?

Hi!

I got Lamin-X 'Tint' on my headlights and Lamin-X 'Smoked' on my rear brake lights. I am now in Brussels with work and have my car out here with me.

Does the smoked on the rear blend in with the black body? I have black also and it's the same sort of look I'm going for. And was it easy enough to fit? Got any pics?
