When does a timing belt need to be replaced on audi a3 20L tdi sportback

I wonder why there are differences here?

I just checked my service book and in mine it definitely says 80,000 miles or 5 years.
Mine had one owner before me and that was Audi themselves. They did the belt at 78,000 miles.

My car is a '07 2.0tdi 140 Sportback if that makes any difference.

It's all quite odd. My French dealer has recently written to me advertising the Audi 'complementary' service at 90,000 kms (56,000 miles)
or 6 years for changing the timing belt and water pump. That is for a 2006 2.0l TDI sportback. His prices, including labour are Euro 638
for the belt, and Euro 831 for both belt and water pump (for reference). In the second case, his price also includes the antifreeze.

It's 80k and the water pump should be done at the same time. I got the belt kit, water pump, alternator belt and oil service for 400 quid. All oem parts and the garage is a highly recommended specialist
