Timing Belt replacement how to?

    Hi All, i guess this may be more for the site administrators but ive looked to see if there is a 'how to' on the site regarding replacing my timing belt and water pump on my A4 2.0TDI auto avant but cant find one. im sure there will be one, could someone please point me in the right direction?

    Don't think I have ever seen a write-up on this site for a timing belt, have you tried a google search, if that draws a blank then get yourself a copy of elsawin from the very popular auction site!

    Thanks for the reply. Elsawin? not heard of that, is it a version of the Haynes manual perhaps?

    Elsawin is the VAG workshop manual. It's a programme for das compooter. If you have an old laptop with elsawin and vagcom on you'll be laughing.
