Well the old V8 bus is being somewhat difficult again, still being a persistant non starter and other old age symptoms..lol
decided to get a grips with it today and looked at the fuel system, fitted a new pump last year and rebuilt the carb...along with other engine work.
Anyway's when it runs it runs great, when It wont ...well it just wont full stop, had the fuel line off to check the fuel delivery and pressure , all good but the petrol has gone well off...it is as much use for combustion as a chocolate fire guard...lol
here is a pic of what was coming out ....that meant fuel tank drain down carb clean out etc.....not a good day.
all back together now and added some nice "fuel enhancer " for a better word , has more heath warning that you can shake a stick at, that means it must be good stuff.
hopefully going to get it running tomorrow, we'll see...lol
