Ok so today i took my car out for a run, last time i ran it was sunday and it was fine, today it was over idleing so when i got home i put the trusty vagcom on it to get the error :-
Throttle Actuator: Under-Voltage during Basic Setting
Has anybody come across this before, and also my battery is flat quite often as i don't drive this car much at all, but today the battery wasn't flat and it started fine

Think youve answered your own question .....

If the batterys been playing up it probably stored a fault id throw a battery on or try get a good trickle charge in that one, carry out a TB alignment then take it for drive to adapt the learned values of the ECU.

I've had that code due to a crusty plug on the throttle body. Removed the plug and it was all green. cleaned it up and fault went away.

Yeah thats a good point any sort of resistance on the component/wiring will throw that code but due to the battery issue its probably not likely always worth a double check of the plug for a two second diagnosis just to be sure !
