Thinking about fitting a new actuator on my S3

    so how can i increase my torque and bhp as Ive got everything mod wise.the other s3 was only 250torque and 250 bhp and we were the same in all gears.i want around the 300mark for both.maybe the bhp at 280.

    ...so you are running a 3" downpipe, FMIC, Milltek (or other exhaust), panel filter or other performance filter? Is your Revo a stage 1? Stage 2/3 mapping should allow you to dial in the mods you have by letting you use more timing and boost but in my experience a reliable (and credible it has to be said) 280bhp and 300ftlbs of torque is difficult to achieve on a K04... Ess_Three did get this (with over 300ftlbs iirc) but his map was very much tweaked (stage 3) but personally I would rather spend the money on a bigger turbo as tbh that is the only real way you are gonna get the power figures you are after...

    A hybrid K04 and maybe water/meth injection would be the only way to get more power with your current setup if you didn't want to go BT....

    I have seen a good 15/20bhp got from water/meth with some of the SCN Ibiza's running hybrid K04's etc

    what revo settings are you running?
    what stage revo is it?

    300bhp from stock k04 turbo is not going to happen - period.
    a spike just breaching the 300lbft is possible from the spike you would likely get from making the actuator stiffer... BUT you RISK saying hello to your engine internals from spikey boost and torque delivery

    not got a down pipe yet, but running decat and miltek system.FMIC and quick shift cone filter.Ive got revo stage 2 with a sps plus.im running b6 t2 and f9 as i cant turn the timing up because of the cf.i no its the down pipe holding me back and once i get 1 ill be able to increase both boost and timing up.but can you explain this.my friends got a LCR 225 with custom codes stage 1 and he pulls a good two or three lenghts on me from a third gear run side by side.surely i should be pulling on him

    The LCR is prob about 300KG lighter TBH, makes a huge difference

    Yarp... LCR in a similar state of tune is not the best comparison.... S3's are heavy ol' beasts...

    never new there was that much weight difference between the 2.never mind.i know which i like best.
